About LayOver Stays
A Better Place to Land
At LayOver Stays, we believe where you stay between trips matters. That's why we specialize in thoughtfully designed, professionally managed housing for airline crew members.
What began as a single crashpad has grown into a trusted network of crew housing across multiple cities. Every home shares the same commitment to comfort, cleanliness, affordability, and community for aviation professionals.
Unlike hotels or short-term rentals, our homes are purpose-built for the airline lifestyle, whether you're on reserve, commuting, in training, or relocating, LayOver Stays provides the flexibility and consistency to feel at home.
We Know the Lifestyle
Our team has firsthand experience in the airline industry and managing crew housing. We understand early report times, delayed flights, and reserve schedules, and the importance of coming home to a quiet, comfortable space. Every home is equipped with keypad entry, fully furnished living spaces, well-stocked kitchens, professional cleaning, and responsive maintenance.
We're proud of the communities we've built. Many residents arrive knowing no one and quickly find themselves living alongside fellow flight attendants, pilots, mechanics, and dispatchers who understand the lifestyle. We've seen friendships form and new hires find support as they begin their careers.
Who we are
Behind every LayOver Stays home is a dedicated team that genuinely cares about the resident experience. We personally oversee our properties, continually invest in improvements, and ensure every home is clean, safe, and professionally managed. Our goal isn't simply to provide a bed, it's to provide a place you'll look forward to coming home to. As we continue expanding into new cities, our mission remains the same
To provide airline professionals with comfortable, affordable, and dependable housing that feels like home, wherever their career takes them.
Whether you're staying for a month or several years, we're honored to be part of your journey and look forward to welcoming you to the LayOver Stays community.

Chris Pagliccia
Co-Founder | Acquisitions | Airline Industry Professional
Chris has been with American Airlines since 2007 and brings more than six years of firsthand experience owning and managing crew housing. What started as a single crashpad grew from a simple idea: airline professionals deserve a clean, comfortable, affordable place to come home to between trips. Today, Chris helps guide the growth and direction of LayOver Here, with a focus on acquisitions, property development, and the long-term vision of the company. He understands that crew housing needs to work with the realities of airline life—not the other way around. Chris is proud of the community LayOver Here has built and the thousands of crew members who have trusted the company with their home away from home.

Kristina Pagliccia
Co-Founder | Director of Business Operations
Kristina is the person behind much of the day-to-day experience at LayOver Here. From developing new properties and designing rooms to welcoming residents, managing communications, marketing homes, and continually improving systems, she has a hand in nearly every part of the resident experience. Her philosophy is simple: treat people like colleagues and family—not tenants. Kristina believes the little things matter, especially when you're constantly traveling for work. A comfortable bed, a clean home, a stocked kitchen, clear communication, and someone who actually listens can make a huge difference. She takes resident feedback seriously and uses it to continually improve the homes and the way LayOver Here operates. What began as one crashpad has grown into a growing crew housing community, but Kristina's approach remains the same: listen, improve, and take care of people.

Nick Santangelo
Co-Founder | Director of On-Site Operations
Nick has been with American Airlines since 2012 and is the boots-on-the-ground presence behind LayOver Here's Charlotte operations. If something happens at one of our homes, Nick is often the person who makes sure it gets taken care of. Locked out in the middle of the night? Call Nick. The AC stops working? Nick is on it. Something needs to be fixed, checked, delivered, or handled in person? Nick is the guy you'll see. From property inspections and maintenance to resident needs and the countless little things that keep a busy crew house running smoothly, Nick is hands-on with our properties and our residents. You'll see him regularly—not just behind the scenes, but at CLT and throughout our crashpads, making sure our homes are operating the way they should. Because Nick works in the airline industry himself, he understands that problems don't always happen between 9 and 5. Airline schedules are unpredictable, and your home needs to have someone behind it who understands that.
